Response:
Beckbee 1. get good trail shoes to protect you feet from rocks/roots/etc 2. learn to eat and run – eat a sandwitch then go running – tough at first easier as you go along 3. orienteering is ok training for AR but the O-meets use specially prepared very detailed maps. The tougher AR’s use at best 1:25,000 scale topo maps. Less details and the distances covered are much greater. — Check out the Team Lab Rat Ultramarathon Page! http://members.fortunecity.com/teamlabrat
