Hot ClimateTraining
Question:
Barry – Enjoy your vacation. As for running in the heat, well I run in Arizona almost year round so really all you’re doing is probably enough. A few tips: Hydrate before you run as well as after (and during as much as possible). A hat and good clothes that breath (i.e. your nylon running shorts). And believe me, it aint a dry heat here during monsoon season so just really push the fluids as much as you can and have a good time! Regards from the desert, – Matt — Hi All, I’m off to Malta for a week (yippee!) and normally train in the Netherlands. Apart from extra hydration and sunblock, is there anything else I need to be doing while training in a much hotter climate? Regards, Barry. Before you buy.

You can think about training in the early morning where it will probably be a little cooler. Hi All, I’m off to Malta for a week (yippee!) and normally train in the Netherlands.
