Hi, I’m a new in this sport and weight about 206lbs. How should I select my running shoes without trusting the sailes man ? Thanks alot

If you go to a good store that specializes in running shoes, I would say trust the sales person to some extent. Give the shoes a try in the store and do not hesitate to run around the store in them.  Many stores will let you take them on a short run outside. If the shoe does not feel good on that, it will not feel better when you really run in it (Sam’s rule #4).
