running with implants

Categories: running shoes

Question:

If it huts that much you shoudl probably see a doctor. There are many possible reasons for your pain (colapsing metatarsal arch, plantar fascitis, bad socks…) And as my physio put it "DON"T RUN THROUGH THE PAIN!!" get it fixed first, you will only make it worse. Get out your bike.. (sorry about the shout, but he was always saying this! :) Jenn – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Begin Quote<          What are you doing for your foot problem?  It seems to be the left foot only.  Ihave really good running shoes, I am so pisset I want to go runnung today but my friken foot hurts. End Quote<

Response:

Is it ok to run with implants? Also I am having problems with the bottom of my feet there are so sore sometimes that I cant even stand on them. I had lower back surgery four years ago I wonder if the back surgery has some connection to the foot problem?  I run every day except sat and sun. I started running three months ago, and run about five to six miles.                                                    thanks Bellabou

Take a look at the bottoms of your feet.  Do you have a heavy callous there? — Dia ’s Muire duit Joe M

Response:

see your spine surgeon.  What kind do you have?? Synergy or PWB or Sofamor Danek? Ally whose goals and aspirations lead her to stupidly train for too much stuff entirely!!!

I have a thick callous that forms on my right foot and occasionally on my left.  I have heard of other people having the same problem.  It seems to be worse when I run on the treadmill.     I bought a small abrasive stone sold for just that use at the drug store.  Just scrape it down from time to time. — Dia ’s Muire duit Joe M

get a bloody good sports bra :) I am sure that the implant surgery was painful and you probably don’t want to relive that.. Jenn – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Is it ok to run with implants?
