Underwear lines….
Question:
Don’t wear underwear. DUH.
This answer isn’t that silly because a lot of athletic clothes come with the built-in equivalent liners. Before you buy.

And even if they don’t, what’s a gal really need her panties for whilst exercising? (email from feeps will be posted to this ng)

Question for the women on the group and maybe the men…. How does one get rid of those annoying underwear lines that show up on your butt when you wear those cotton shorts. Any suggestions would be welcome. I’m beginning to notice it more and more. Don’t wear underwear. DUH. A bot writes these questions, right?
No, some 46-year-old beer-bellied chain-smoker. My theory, anyway. And for the record, I think Jenn established the proper nomenclature: "Carra’s" questions should always be referred to as "blonde." class dismissed, Dirk

Hmm.. Kinda related to the two post that answered my initial question. The second post talks about wearing coolmax shorts with a pantie lining inside…. I guess with the pantie lining inside… I guess then the answer is not to wear underwear at all
or do some people wear underwear with the pants that have underwear built in. I’ve never spent much on running gear
Just as clueless as always. – Carra Carra asked….. How does one get rid of those annoying underwear lines that show up on your butt when you wear those cotton shorts. Then someone answered…. Just a lurker here but… Don’t wear cotton shorts! Then smart assed male had to say what all men were thinking: Don’t wear underwear!!!
– http://fullspeed.to/mypicture – be warned! Before you buy.
Response:
To Just as clueless as always. Dear clueless: If the lines are really big deal, then wear a thong under. In any case, avoid cotton shorts, as they tend to get soggy and chafe.
Response:
I can attest to the chaffing problem of using cotten clothing while running.:-) Tom " walking a bit funny

Cara, there’s a great catalog for women’s running and other athletic wear, called Title 9 Sports. They also have a website at http://www.titleninesports.com/ the stuff is pretty reasonably priced, and made to fit women in particular. Hope this is helpful! Miriam Before you buy.

You think their stuff is reasonably priced?! Coolmax training shirts for $30!! Pfah! I’d like you to shop at, say, Campmor (www.campmor.com) or National Running Center (www.nationalrunningcenter.com), and then send *me* the money that you saved by not shopping at Title 9. Title 9 has lovely stuff, but all of it can be purchased elsewhere for 2/3 to 1/2 the cost. No pantylines and all.

Just a lurker here but… Don’t wear cotton shorts! I used to run in them until I discovered coolmax shorts! They have a pantie build it and wick moisture away. I believe it’s asics that makes one called the Long Distance Short and it’s a bit longer than the others, covering up the thighs a bit more. Once you try them you will never go back to cotton again!
