Run Run Away

I’m looking for 10K runs in central Tennessee or northern Alabama this summer. Can only find one, and it is more like rock climbing (the Alabama A&M, next week). For races in middle Tennessee, call the Nashville Striders running club at (615)833-4124.  Tell ‘em Art sent you. There’s a 5K (the "Crieve Hall Run") in Nashville tomorrow, and other 5’s and 10’s coming up soon.  I recommend in particular the Firecracker 5000 on July 4th (early a.m.). In Huntsville, call the Huntsville Track Club, as you probably know. Then there’s always the Nashville Hash House Harriers if you like beer more than trophies. Have fun. There used to be road races in Stevenson in July, but it has been awhile since I lived in the area.  Doesn’t Huntsville have races during the summer? Charles Yeomans
