Atlanta and training partners
Question:
My girlfriend is moving to Atlanta and wondering if there are any group runs or places that she can easily meet others to go on training runs with. She usually runs between 30-50 minutes and runs between 7:00 and 8:30 miles. Any running club numbers would also be appreciated.
As well, Wingfoot, the publication of Atlanta Track Club, lists area running groups and the times and days they get together.

Lots. Tell her to pick up a copy of Atlanta Sports and Fitness Magazine and check the Running/Ongoing section. The magazine can be picked up at most running stores and health clubs in the area. Jeff

I’ll second a previous response regarding Atlanta Sports & Fitness Magazine and offer the name of another(?) or the same(?) mag by them, called Georgia Fitness. Atlanta Sports & Fitness Magazine, Inc. 359 Paces Ferry, Suite 101 Atlanta, GA 30305 404-842-0359 FAX 404-816-5215 The current issue has almost 40 weekly runs listed for Atlanta. I’m jealous…. ;-} Mike Tennent WebRunner Running Page — Southeast USA Race Calendar FTP Race Apps, FAQ – Home of the WebRunner Racing Utilities http://www.webrunner.com/webrun/running/running.html
