Question:

Wow, what a gorgeous day to run.  Don’t know what the temp is (great for Indiana on Jan. 1), but it’s sunny, little wind and you’re able to wear (full side cut) shorts and a singlet.   Now time to head to a movie and some popcorn and coke.   Start the mileage calendar for 2000.    David "IndyRunr"

Mine says 7 miles already.  Ran the Bix7 course today at 9am.  A lot of fun to.  Glad they had something to drink at the end! Roger

Here in Atlanta, 66 degrees F. No real cold here yet this season. Of course, cold for us is in the 20s.    -Phil

On 12/18/99 I ran a PR 5K in Worcester, MA in shorts and singlet.  Next run was in Sandown, NH in shorts and then South Range, WI in shorts.  It’s warm all over; but I tend to run in shorts down to about 0F with no wind. Palmer

I ran in a 5 miler race in our nearby village of Healing, Lincolnshire, England on 19-12-99 Temp at 1100hrs -4 deg C, shorts, Helly Hansen and vest on the body. Can’t ever remember not racing in anything but shorts, except in mountain races. 1900 or 2000? :-) Before you buy.

Response:

Has anyone run the Portland Marathon that’s held in October?  I would like to know the degree of difficulty and if it’s a good race.
