supination

Categories: nike running

Question:

I vowed I would never support Nike, but have been converted over the past couple years, as I realized that for my feet, they had the best arch support.  I have a very neutral gate to slight supination, but have extremely high arches.  I get the least IT band problems of any shoe.  This year I’ve worn Air Skylon and Air Int’l Triax.  I found the Skylon very light, but too much air.  The Int’l Triax seems to have better cushioning for my heal.

Response:

With fallen arches, don’t you mean heavy over pronation?  Usually its people with high rigid acrches who "supinate" (a misnomer, better term is under pronate).
