Question:

I posted this message without putting in a subject heading earlier. My question is if Nike has a shoe that is similar to its old Huarache International.  The Skylon Triax?   Any comments or input are appreciated.  Thanks. Tom

: I posted this message without putting in a subject heading earlier. : My question is if Nike has a shoe that is similar to its old Huarache : International.  The Skylon Triax?   Any comments or input are : appreciated.  Thanks. I’d say (from my experience) that the Skylon Triax is *fairly* similar, but seems (to me) to be a *bit* more supportive.  I’ve been running in the Air Structure Triaxes, but due to a desperate need for a new pair of shoes, I had to get a pair of the Skylons.  They felt great at first, but are already dying after 3 115-132 mile weeks.   That may not sound bad, but I’ve been getting 600-800 miles out of my Structure Triaxes. Back to the original question :) , you may want to take a look at the new Nike Air Footscape, it is probably the closest to a Huarache type shoe —

I’m also a fan of the Nike Huarache and I read with interest the shoe review in Runner’s World and the article in Running Times about the new Nike Footscape model.  It does sound like the closest thing to the Huarache and it got good reviews in both magazines.  It’s supposed to be available in stores in November. you may want to take a look at the new Nike Air Footscape, it is probably the closest to a Huarache type shoe
