Question:

I’m a 31 year old male who’s relatively new to jogging/running/generally making a new effort to get fit.  Are these power bar things any good to eat before you go running?  Sometimes I’m kinda tired before I go out to run so something to pick me up seems like it could help me get that little boost of energy to get out there. I figure I’ll be a little fatigued anyway at first till I get a few weeks of running in. If they are good, which ones are best.  I basically want to lose weight and build a little muscle tone. I’m doing 2 miles, then work out at a "fitness court" then 2 miles back home. Please answer in the newsgroup cause I dig this one!   —
