Adidas Response Trail

Question:

I’m considering buying a pair for trail running.  If you run in them, what do you like?  Dislike?  Would you buy them again? Thanks, Larry

I like the wide surface under the heel. I tend to twist my ankles quite a bit and it seems to help. I don’t like the narrow toe box. My toes tend to feel jammed on really long runs (20 miles). I’d likely go another half size larger if I were to buy them again. Some other shoes to look at: Adidas Terrian Lite, Asics Gel-Moro, Brooks Vanguard. — Tom Carminati U S WEST Technologies

Response:

I tried the regular response Trail and didn’t like the fit.  A little narrow in the toe box.  I know run in the Adidas Trail Lite and love them.  Wider toe box and true to size.  The Response Trail seems to run almost a 1/2 size small.  We don;t sell shoes, so I’m not trying to push anything in particular!
