Question:
300 miles per pair of shoes? I cannot afford that either. Who is recommending this? A doctor or a SHOE COMPANY? Scott UUCP: humu!nctams1!pnet16!01f
Response:
Probably are FAQ answers to these questions, but: Has anyone found someone who can repair the midsoles on Nike Air running shoes? My material has disintegrated, and I would really like to reuse them since the uppers are in great shape. However, the places I have called don’t touch midsoles, and I am a bit leery about sending my shoes to a place that just has a post box… Does DMSO still exist? My father used to have a supply of it as a medical test case 20 years ago, but my mother threw it out when he died. I know that it was available as a veterinary or something like that solution. I would like to get some more. Apparently, other folks are experiencing the same enjoyment as I with ASICS gels. Do they always have the shock absorption of a 2×4 and the wet weather traction of a banana peel on oil? I am running the "Best buy" or whatever they were in the past Shoe Issue of RW. Once I got used to them, I have adapted, but I doubt I will buy a similar pair in the future, unless the upper-price ones are substantially better. Lastly, am I the only person who can’t afford to run a pair of shoes only 300 miles and trash them? All these doctors reports, seemed to stress that. I have too many miles behind me to believe that is a valid mileage figure. Your patience and answers are appreciated.
